Is There Any ADHD Treatment?

There are medications that can help balance brain chemicals to help the child with concentration and impulses. However, these medications will be prescribed based on the extent of your child’s disorder, their health, medical history, and your personal preference.

There are also psychological treatments such as behaviour management strategies used by parents, family, and teachers. This type of treatment can be taught to parents and implemented at home.

What Is The Cause?

ADHD is constantly being researched, however, there is no known cause for the disorder’s development. We are aware that it is a brain chemical imbalance and a biological disorder. However, there is no medical or scientific evidence to suggest why or what causes it.
